The Pinch messes with hiphop by means of a mic and a trumpet. As a proud member of the busking community he brings his passion for urban poetry, nasty beats and jazzy horn-licks to the streets. Out of conviction and necessity he's become a strong advocate for independence, moving away from exploitative and profit-driven platforms and trying to form direct and wholesome connections instead.

Live at Berlin Street Festival

The Pinch is easily recognized by his unique flavour marked by jazz-infused harmonies, unforgiving rants and very laid-back trumpet improvisations. In 2024 he teamed up with guitarist and busking legend Jan Bures to showcase his dedication to hip-hop culture in a duo setting.

The Berlin Leaks Session

In 2019 The Pinch put together a full band with some of his best mates and recorded four of his songs at his home in Berlin. The energetic live session sheds light onto the contradictions and tragedies unfolding in a society entirely absorbed by materialism.

Throw me a rope

The song Throw me a rope is one of the first collaborative works by the intern and The Pinch and shows a more personal side of the artist. The independently released single deals with the topic of depression and comes with a scenic video shot in the forests around Berlin.

Devil's Hand

Released in 2020 as part of the Tales Of Demons And Darkness EP, Devil's Hand is a satirical and light-hearted reflection on humankind's complicity in its own plight. The video features some state-of-the-art dance moves blended with incredible animations by motion graphic designer Max Roof.
